DevOps Support for Healthcare Analytics Deployment in Ethiopia
- Overview:
Led the deployment and optimization of healthcare analytics software for the Ethiopian Ministry of Health, overcoming infrastructure and resource challenges. - Key Solutions:
- HAPI FHIR Upgrade: Developed a Python-based data migration script to ensure smooth transitions in an environment with unstable power.
- Power BI Security: Installed and set up Power BI Report Server on on-premise servers. Set up user account, implemented Row-Level and Folder-Level Security for controlled access.
- ClickHouse & DBT Optimization: Improved performance and reduced failures in reporting pipelines by fine-tuning ClickHouse configurations to work in a low-resource environment.
- Infrastructure Stability: Deployed the National Data Repository (NDR) platform and optimized Docker Swarm services for scalability and reliability in low-resource environments.
